Wet Washing Sieves

• Stainless mesh standard on all 8” (203 mm) diameter models.
• Optional models available with stainless steel back-up mesh.

Wet Washing Sieves are designed for wet testing of soils, cement, and other fine materials. In the wet washing process, fines are washed through the sieve without loss of any portion of the sample. In most applications, the water is sprayed into the sieve for a set time and under a specified pressure. After the fines have been washed through, the residue which remains in the sieve is dried in the sieve prior to the weighing operation.
