Rapid-Change Flexure Attachments

• Adjustable loading block for testing various lengths of specimens.

These flexure attachments are designed for use on all ASTM Compression Testers using the Rapid-Change mounting system.

They are used to apply center or third point loading methods to beams for the determination of the modulus of rupture. The upper loading head has drilled and tapped mounting holes for the adjustment of the bearing blocks from single to third point loading configurations.

The lower support channel has drilled and tapped mounting holes that allow for the adjustment for beams that range in length from 12” (305 mm) to 30” (760 mm). The bearing blocks are flexible so that the force applied to the beam will be vertical only and applied without eccentricity.
