The ACCU-TEK TOUCH™ 500 Series compression tester meets the demands of extensive load capacity testing by combining microprocessor technology with rugged solid steel frame construction for testing high strength concrete. The space-saving single unit design consists of a heavy duty 500,000 lbf. (2,224 kN) capacity load frame, hydraulic pump and digital display system.
The large lower bearing block, combined with a bellows, eliminates hydraulic leaks by preventing dust and debris from entering the piston/cylinder seal area of the load frame. The 14” (355 mm) wide horizontal opening provides complete accessibility for loading specimens.
With the rapid-change platen system, the operator can quickly and easily mount a wide range of accessories to the upper crosshead for cylinder, cube, beam, and block specimen testing – from 2” (50 mm) cubes to 12” (305 mm) masonry blocks.
